Rapid Peel

Rapid Peel is a configurable professional platform combining fractional Er:YAG 2940 nm laser resurfacing with two DPC™ handpieces: SR580 for overall skin tone and rejuvenation, and VP² for targeted pigment and vascular concerns.

Water absorption peaks near 2940 nm, so the laser can ablate superficial skin layers with limited collateral thermal effect. Fractional delivery divides the beam into an array of microbeams, leaving untreated tissue between the ablated areas to support re-epithelialization.

• The 7×7 matrix is used for maintenance treatments.
• The 9×9 matrix is used for corrective treatments.
• The 4 mm tip is used for full ablation.

Practitioners can customize treatment intensity and use multiple passes based on the treatment goals, patient response, and clinical assessment.

• Fractional LASER 2940: Er:YAG resurfacing with 7×7, 9×9, and 4 mm tip configurations.
• DPC SR580: a 580–950 nm DPC™ handpiece for overall skin tone and rejuvenation.
• Dual VP²: a dual-band 535–680 nm and 860–1200 nm DPC™ handpiece for selected vascular and pigment spot treatments.

• DPC SR580: skin rejuvenation of the face, neck, chest, and hands, plus documented benign pigmented lesions.
• Dual VP: selected vascular and pigmented concerns using its simultaneous dual-band spectrum.

Suitability and configuration must be determined after consultation, medical-history review, and practitioner assessment.

Most patients describe fractional resurfacing as a warm, prickling sensation during treatment and have downtime while the skin heals. DPC™ treatments are generally well tolerated and are often described as a gentle warming sensation with a light snapping feeling. Integrated CoolTip™ contact cooling keeps treatments comfortable, and DPC™ treatments require little to no downtime.

Most clients experience 2–4 days where the fractional treatment grid remains visible, followed by continued healing and skin renewal for up to two weeks. As the skin regenerates, texture and tone continue to improve, with full results typically visible after approximately 28 days. DPC™ treatments have little to no downtime. Mild redness may occur immediately after treatment but typically resolves within a few hours, allowing most clients to return to their normal activities right away.

Every patient’s skin is unique, which is why Rapid Peel treatments can be fully customized based on individual concerns, downtime preferences, and desired outcomes. For concerns such as acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin texture, a series of 3–6 fractional resurfacing treatments is typically recommended, scheduled every 4–6 weeks. DPC™ Skin Rejuvenation and VP² Pigment & Vascular treatments can be incorporated throughout the series to target redness, pigmentation, and overall skin quality. For clients looking to refresh their skin each year, a customized fractional resurfacing treatment combined with DPC™ skin rejuvenation provides a comprehensive approach to improving texture, tone, pigmentation, and overall skin health.

• Use cold-water compresses and practitioner-recommended soothing or moisturizing creams; do not rub the skin.
• Cleanse as directed with a soap-free cleanser and apply ointment until scabbing has resolved.
• Stay indoors while redness, swelling, and tenderness subside when possible.
• Use protective headwear and at least SPF 30 when going outside, then maintain daily sun protection after re-epithelialization.
