Fall Stackable Musts – 3 Exceptional Multi-Technology Treatments to Treat Photoaging Skin

Fall Stackable Musts – 3 Exceptional Multi-Technology Treatments to Treat Photoaging Skin

Is your clinic using the full potential of multiple technologies? The medical aesthetic industry is making waves through its advancement and innovation of several technologies that tackle some of the most prominent skin concerns. By using multiple technologies, you not only treat several indications at once, but you can also treat the same indication using the advantages brought on by the different technologies and the mechanisms that they trigger.

This multi-modality approach not only enhances and fortifies results for your clients but also increases your revenue potential. Clients are looking for personalized, curated treatments that address their cluster of concerns while saving them time and money. The medical aesthetics industry is prepared to meet this need.

Stackable treatments are highly effective in treating photoaging skin concerns. Photoaging refers to the process where skin ages prematurely due to the impact of chronic sun exposure. Summer months, with their long days and intense sunlight, pose significant challenges to the skin. The strong UVA and UVB rays penetrate the skin’s layers and create damage. This damage is not only on the surface layer of the skin (due to UVB rays) but also deep in the dermal layers (through UVA rays). UVA rays create significant damage which may or may not be visible right away but creates a significant premature aging effect. Consider the collagen protein, one of the most prominent in our body, and integral to the health of our skin; sun damage from UVA rays breaks it down significantly, leading to fine lines and wrinkles. Overproduction of melanin brought on by UVB rays also creates hyper and hypopigmentation which creates uneven skin tone.

But with stackable treatments, you can help your clients treat and reverse the signs of photoaging through a more comprehensive approach. By stacking treatments, you can offer quicker, more efficient, and effective solutions. Here are three stackable treatments to offer this fall to help your clients simultaneously treat multiple indications of photoaging.

1. Carbon Glow Peel:

Treatment Combo: Q-Switch + RF Face

Our Carbon Glow Peel combines Q-Switch and the RF Face.

You begin with the carbon-correcting peel which has tremendous power to clean and exfoliate the skin. It produces immediate stimulation, bringing in more blood flow to the face. The use of the photoenhancer carbon will also bring more dirt, oil, and impurities to the skin’s surface which will then be blasted off by the Q-Switch. This treatment increases cellular turnover which will help bring in newer, healthier, more rejuvenated skin while addressing hyperkeratinization. See an improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, and dull skin.

The RF Face handpiece uses radio-frequency technology to contour and tighten the face. By stimulating collagen production, the skin becomes firmer and tighter, treating fine lines, wrinkles, and open pores. With zero downtime, results begin to become visible even after a single treatment. With the RF Face, you want to administer weekly treatments with around 8 – 12 sessions; the CC Peel is to be administered once a month, although in cases with more hyperkeratinized skin, you can opt to perform it biweekly instead of monthly, depending on the skin’s capacity.

2. Age Defying Facial:

Treatment Combo: RF Face + IR + VP Dual + SR 580

The Age Defying Facial begins with tightening and contouring the face using radio-frequency technology, followed by one pass of VermaDerm Infrared, which works to tighten the skin. It will address fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, and elastosis and it will also help with dullness. Both handpieces will stimulate the immediate contraction of collagen fibers for that instant tightening effect. The generation of heat within the skin will cause thermal damage, and the resultant wound-healing response will stimulate fibroblasts, resulting in neocollagenesis.

You then follow up with the powerful VP Dual handpiece, which emits two different ranges of wavelengths to spot treat both vascular and pigmentary lesions. This is a highly beneficial treatment, especially to address concerns that stem deeper within the skin’s layers.

Lastly, the SR 580 is used to carry out a full Skin Rejuvenation facial, applying up to 2 passes on the texture setting. This photofacial is designed to target fine lines, enlarged pores, dull skin, and pigmentation. It addresses sunspots, dyschromia, mottled pigmentation, and uneven skin. Ending with this handpiece will allow you to tackle multiple photoaging concerns at once. This will also stimulate more collagen.

The Age Defying Facial series will require at least 6 – 8 sessions, spaced every 3 – 4 weeks depending on your client’s healing ability. Skin tone improvement will be visible after a single treatment, with more prominent changes continuing over the next few weeks to months.

3. Elite Facial

Treatment Combo: CC Peel + VP Dual + Skin Rejuvenation + Fractional Resurfacing

The treatment begins with thorough cleansing and exfoliation using the CC Peel. This will stimulate cellular turnover, which will address lackluster skin due to photoaging, while also supporting a more even skin tone. You will then continue with the spot treatment using VP Dual – unleashing the ability to powerfully spot treat with its concentrated 1.5 cm2 -sized crystal tip. This handpiece will effectively tackle broken capillaries and stubborn pigment.

For the ultimate skin rejuvenation, the third step is to perform a full SR facial using the SR 580 handpiece. Finally, we’ll stimulate the ultimate collagen production using fractional resurfacing technology. Two passes with the 9 x 9 tip size will create thermal stimulation and peeling of the skin, leaving the client with renewed skin. This treatment addresses the photoaging concerns of fine lines and wrinkles while creating an improved texture and structure for the skin.

This treatment will require 1 – 6 sessions based on your client’s needs and goals. Sessions are to occur every 4 – 6 weeks, depending on your client’s rate of healing, as this treatment uses the Fractional handpiece that involves some downtime.
