Nd:YAG 1064 LP Laser

The NdYag 1064 long pulse (LP) laser is ideal for treating conditions that occur in the deeper layers of the skin, such as deep vascular  lesions and problematic leg  veins.  This equipment delivers a long pulse that can penetrate as deep as ten millimetres,  a depth that is not attainable with shorter wavelengths.

The NdYag offers other benefits that include the following:

• The target area is heated more uniformly than is typically seen with shorter wavelengths, and with higher absorption coefficients
• The laser causes selective photothermolysis in the target area without damaging surrounding tissue
