Sterilization of your equipment

As you are interchanging hand pieces out of their specific briefcases, please ensure that you are always taking a moment to wipe off, and clean the wave guide (the tip).  It is easy to skip this step in between clients (or treatments), and because the padding inserts that the briefcases are lined with are dark, this can become dangerous issue.  If there is any dark debris on the wave guide, and you emit light onto the skin by performing a treatment, it is a certainty that there will be a burn or a mark on the tissue.  Always try to work in a clean environment, and wipe your tips, when taking them from one spot to another and also every 15 – 20 passes, as debris can accumulate on the tip.
