The appropriate amount of pressure

The first tip we would like to highlight, is to always remember to use intentional pressure, when performing a hair removal treatment.

It provides a great deal of comfort to the client, as it helps to push away the nerve endings from the treatment area.  Much like applying pressure to the skin after removing hair with wax, we always want to apply a bit of pressure with the tip of the hand piece, to maximize patient comfort.  It is not necessary however, to take this step with skin rejuvenation, vascular and pigmented lesions, and acne.  With these 3 treatments, we are looking to use just enough contact to ensure a completely flush pulse to the skin, but no access pressure is needed.
