Er: YAG 2940 Fractional Laser

The ErYag 2940 fractional laser is  known for its proficiency in targeting specific areas of the skin. Unlike devices that are designed to ablate large areas, the ErYag can selectively ablate  micro-columns in the skin with minimal damage to surrounding tissue.

As the name suggests, the ErYag2940 delivers  a wavelength of 2940nm, which is the point at which water absorption of light peaks. This reduces the likelihood and extent of thermal  damage to areas that are outside of the target zone.

The beam is divided into multiple  beams, or pixels, that ablate micro-columns that are separated by healthy tissue. This  tissue  generates new collagen and elastin that promotes healing in the ablated  area,  leaving the skin firmer and tighter.
